The best weighing accuracy and repeatability – with sd ≤ 1d combined with USP regulations conformity (Section 41 and 1251) make 4Y PLUS balances a new standard for mass measurement quality.
Ergonomic Mechanical Design
The UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalance features construction solutions ensuring convenient everyday operation. The weighing chamber can be disassembled without tools, which makes cleaning it convenient. Programmable infrared sensors, when respectively set, enable touchless opening and closing of the weighing chamber.
Antistatic Weighing Chamber
Specially designed antistatic panes coating compensates electrostatic charges accumulated on the sample and laboratory accessories. With this, the influence of electrostatics onto the weighing result is limited.
REFLEX LEVEL SYSTEM
New autolevelling system in UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalances ensures:
- ground tilt test,
- automatic balance levelling,
- control of the correct balance level,
- confirmation of correct balance level on adjustment and weighing reports.
Brand new adjustment system guarantees the highest measurement accuracy. It minimizes linearity errors simultaneously providing reliable indications for the whole weighing range.
Smart Min Weight
With use of the "Smart Min Weight" function, the UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalance automatically adjusts resolution of the range to the currently weighed mass. This results with improvement of the minimum sample weight parameter by 30%.
Remote control operation
Wi-Fi® module offers wireless transfer of data recorded by UYA 4Y PLUS balance to any portable device powered by iOS or Android systems using special applications intended for data management.
Data safety
Every single UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-balance features ALIBI memory designed to provide protection and automatic recording of your measurements. Options such as data preview, copying and archiving are also
available to users.

UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalances feature Dual Core 2 x 1 GB processor which delivers noticeable performance improvements including faster operation and shorter stabilization time retaining high repeatability values.
16 GB RAM – more data management possibilities
16 GB RAM offers possibility of recording data in a form of complex reports. Time and statistic data diagrams on series of weighments are another useful option.
21 CFR Part 11 Compliance Module
UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalances are compliant with 21 CFR part 11 and EU GMP part 4, annex 11. This means that the 4Y PLUS series features numerous functions for protecting and monitoring work results of particular operators.
Full data protection is ensured by:
- advanced password settings,
- verification of log-in operation correctness,
- assigning permissions to operators,
- auto log out,
- electronic signature, e.g. for series of measurements,
- granting/denying access to data management
- data backup,
- modifications saved to Audit Trail file.
Four predefined profiles enable automatic balance parameters customization.
- FAST – the measurement result is obtained in a very short time,
- FAST DOSING – the balance quickly reacts to mass changes, especially useful for dosing or adding more product to the dispensed portion,
- PRECISION - balance settings providing the minimum standard deviation of sd ≤ 1,5 μg,
- USER - customization of the parameters in accordance with operator's requirements.
Anti-Draft Shield
The standard equipment of the ultra-microbalance is an anti-draft chamber eliminating imperfect conditions in weighing rooms (air drafts). The ultra-microbalance is placed inside the anti-draft chamber. Sliding side panes enable easy access to the weighing chamber.
Filter weighing option
This innovative solution enables the user to easily swap the weighing chamber with the chamber for filter weighing, which considerably expands the UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalance functionality. The filter weighing chamber is characterized by high ingress protection. Large open-work weighing pan allows precise weighing of filters of various dimensions (max ø100). It is made of stainless steel which makes the chamber resistant to chemicals, colour change and scratches. The additional chamber does not come standard with the UYA 4Y PLUS ultra-microbalance.

All returns must be authorized by Spectra Services in order to insure proper credit and must be requested within 30 days of purchase. All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge. For returns not due to error on behalf of Spectra Services, the customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product. To ensure proper credit, each product return must include the following information:
- Customer name and address
- Purchase order number
- Spectra Services shipping order number
- Date of invoice
- Item number of returned item(s)
- Spectra Services return authorization number (RMA)
- Reason for return
Non-Returnable Goods
Unfortunately, Spectra Services is unable to accept the following returns at this time:
- Products not in completely resalable condition (including products with damaged, missing, or defaced labeling or packaging
- Chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile, or any controlled products (unless products do not meet specification
- Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals
- Refrigerated products or other perishables
- Products which are not inventoried by Spectra Services and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer
- Products purchased on a special order
- Products not purchased from Spectra Services
- Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
- Discontinued products
Spectra Services reserves the right to review this policy on a case-by-case basis.
Pre-Owned Products
Upon receipt of the pre-owned product(s), the customer has one week to evaluate the product to ensure it meets their expectations. If for some reason the customer decides to return the product, they may do so at any point during those seven (7) days for a full refund. No restocking fee will be assessed, however, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Full credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the item(s) to ensure equipment was returned in the same condition it was initially shipped out in.
Important Information
All exchanges and returns require the completion of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Once completed, please return the merchandise immediately as the RMA number is only active for ten (10) days from the date of issuance.
Charges associated with returning items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item(s) arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Spectra Services highly recommends that return packages be insured for full value and packaged securely to prevent shipping damage.

What types of payments do you accept?

Do you charge sales tax?
Currently, we are authorized to collect sales tax in California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. If we ship to any of these states, we are obligated to charge sales tax unless you provide us with a tax exempt certificate. You can either fax a copy of the certificate to our New York office (585.265.4374) or email it to (accounting@spectraservices.com).

I just placed an order. Can I modify/cancel it?

Do you accept international orders?

Will I be charged for shipping?

I received a damaged shipment. What can I do?
Accidental damage during shipment can sometimes happen. When you take delivery of your freight, please inspect thoroughly for any visible damage to the outside of the shipping container before signing for it. If there are multiple pieces to the shipment, please account for all them. Should you find that any of the products are damaged or missing after receipt, contact us within three days to address the matter.
