    Product Summary

    PureAire’s Oxygen Deficiency Monitor with Remote Sensor is perfect for facilities that use inert gases, including, but not limited to, nitrogen, helium, and argon. The remote sensor allows for continuous monitoring up to 10 feet from the monitor. This monitor is well suited for confined spaces or spaces that are not easily accessible. The monitor will remain accurate at temperatures as low as -40C. PureAire’s durable, non-depleting, zirconium oxide sensor will last up to 10+ years in a normal environment without needing to be replaced.

    The AirCheck O2 Monitor with a remote sensor is ideal for use in confined spaces, such as gas storage rooms or freezers. Since the Air Check O2 Monitor features a zirconium cell rather than an electrochemical sensor cell, it is more accurate than other oxygen monitors on the market. This O2 monitor can be used indoors or outdoors and provides accurate readings despite changes to temperature, barometric pressure, and humidity.

    The heart of the monitoring system is a long-lasting zirconium sensor, which responds to low oxygen conditions within seconds and provides accurate measurements over a wide temperature and humidity range. The zirconium O2 sensor cell will operate continuously for 10 or more years and requires an absolute minimum of maintenance. There are no zero or span calibration pots to adjust and when compared to disposable type sensors, our long-life zirconium O2 sensor can save up to $475 annually and will pay for itself in just over 3 years!

    The AirCheck O2 Deficiency Monitor checks oxygen concentration levels and transmits readings to any programmable logic controller or system control data acquisition system. The O2 sensor can work with your existing equipment to save on implementation costs. The AirCheck O2 Deficiency Monitor may be operated remotely via a centralized controller at distances of up to 1,000 meters (0.6 miles), for flexibility.

    No Reference Gas Necessary

    Oxygen monitors that use a concentration type zirconium cell require a reference gas to work properly, but the Air Check O2 Deficiency Monitor provides reliable readouts with no reference gas. Unlike oxygen sensors from other manufacturers, PureAire'smonitors can be used in 100 percent nitrogen environments and at lower temperatures. The AirCheck O2 Deficiency Monitor can detect oxygen levels from 0 to 25 percent with no calibration and no maintenance for a period of 10 years or longer.

    No Calibration Necessary

    As mentioned, once installed this O2 monitor needs no calibration to perform reliably. The AirCheck O2 Deficiency Monitor receives a continuous challenge from the earth’s natural supply of calibrated oxygen. What does this mean for you? No adjustments to make, no annual maintenance or calibration, and no worry. For peace of mind, you may wish to expose the oxygen monitor to nitrogen periodically, both to challenge the system and familiarize staff with what happens when the oxygen monitor's alarm goes off. This way, everyone knows what to do if there’s an oxygen shortage.

     

    All returns must be authorized by Spectra Services in order to insure proper credit and must be requested within 30 days of purchase. All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge. For returns not due to error on behalf of Spectra Services, the customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product. To ensure proper credit, each product return must include the following information:

    • Customer name and address
    • Purchase order number
    • Spectra Services shipping order number
    • Date of invoice
    • Item number of returned item(s)
    • Spectra Services return authorization number (RMA)
    • Reason for return

    Non-Returnable Goods
    Unfortunately, Spectra Services is unable to accept the following returns at this time:

    • Products not in completely resalable condition (including products with damaged, missing, or defaced labeling or packaging
    • Chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile, or any controlled products (unless products do not meet specification
    • Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals
    • Refrigerated products or other perishables
    • Products which are not inventoried by Spectra Services and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer
    • Products purchased on a special order
    • Products not purchased from Spectra Services
    • Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
    • Discontinued products

    Spectra Services reserves the right to review this policy on a case-by-case basis.

    Pre-Owned Products

    Upon receipt of the pre-owned product(s), the customer has one week to evaluate the product to ensure it meets their expectations. If for some reason the customer decides to return the product, they may do so at any point during those seven (7) days for a full refund. No restocking fee will be assessed, however, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Full credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the item(s) to ensure equipment was returned in the same condition it was initially shipped out in.

    Important Information

    All exchanges and returns require the completion of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Once completed, please return the merchandise immediately as the RMA number is only active for ten (10) days from the date of issuance.

    Charges associated with returning items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item(s) arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect.

    Spectra Services highly recommends that return packages be insured for full value and packaged securely to prevent shipping damage.

    Do you charge sales tax?

    Currently, we are authorized to collect sales tax in California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. If we ship to any of these states, we are obligated to charge sales tax unless you provide us with a tax exempt certificate.     I just placed an order. Can I modify/cancel it?

    Do you accept international orders?

    Will I be charged for shipping?

    I received a damaged shipment. What can I do?

    Accidental damage during shipment can sometimes happen. When you take delivery of your freight, please inspect thoroughly for any visible damage to the outside of the shipping container before signing for it. If there are multiple pieces to the shipment, please account for all them. Should you find that any of the products are damaged or missing after receipt, contact us within three days to address the matter.
