YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer is a new model pilot-scale spray dryer developed by Shanghai Pilotech.
YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer, the body of the equipment is SUS304 stainless steel, the spray head material is SUS316L stainless steel, the air compressor is an oil-free air compressor, and the noise is very low, less than 60DB.
If you have a traditional pilot scale spray dryer, you will find that this kind spray dryer is very large, covering an area of more than 3 square meters, and it is very noisy. After starting up, the entire experimental building is very noisy. But YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer is very quiet after starting up, and the volume is only 1 square meter.
You must be very concerned about the recovery rate of spray dryers. Traditional pilot-scale spray dryers have very low recovery rates, mostly around 60%, while YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer have a maximum recovery rate of 92%.
During the experiment, sometimes you have few materials. The traditional pilot-scale spray dryer requires at least 2L of materials each time. It is very inconvenient to prepare materials. However, the YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer only needs 50ML to complete an experiment. No need to buy another onemini spray dryer.
The YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer has an inlet air temperature range of 110-350°C. During low-temperature spray drying, the lowest outlet temperature is 60°C, which is very suitable for sugar-containing materials and heat-sensitive materials. It is also suitable for some materials that require high temperature drying.
YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer, the particle size after drying is 1-100 microns, and the particle size range is wide, suitable for your different drying requirements.

Flexible switch between small and high processing capacities The minimum and maximum capacities of YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer are respectively 50ML and 4L/H. Being capable of continuous production, it is a perfect combination of minor, small and pilot scale.
Large particle processing ability Size of particles dried with conventional lab spray dryers is generally 1-25μm, but they cannot meet requirements of processing of catalyst and other large particles. With YC-019, you can get particles with a maximum size of 100μm and it is the first choice for processing of catalyst and other large particles sizing 60-100μm.
Perfect combination of low temperature and ultra-high temperature With maximum inlet air temperature reaching 350°C, it can meet ultra-high temperature drying requirements of ceramics and other materials; with minimum inlet air temperature being 105°C, it is especially suitable for spray drying of traditional Chinese medicine, extracts of natural substances and other materials with sugar content. No material will adhere to the wall during drying and materials are featured with excellent fluidityafter drying.

The stainless steel spray assembly consists of an inner tube for the liquid sample leading to a small diameter jet. An outer tube directs compressed air to the nozzle. All units are supplied with 0.7mm jets, other sizes are available as accessories.The spray assembly incorporates an automatic de-blocking device that prevents the jet nozzle from becoming blocked, the de-blocking needle is activated by an integral compressor. De-blocker is sometimes necessary with materials which may solidify or when large particles in suspension cause blockages in the jet.
High recovery rateWith only one cyclone separator, recovery rate is always a problem with lab spray dryers and it is difficult to improve recovery even with two cyclones. With the structured redesigned, YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer can reach a maximum recovery rate of 92%, excellently solving the problem of low recovery.
Temperature protectionThe heater has an extreme high temperature when experiment finished, which needs air blower to continue working in order to reduce the inside temperature and ensure the safety of equipment, YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer can control air blower running automatically, even the operator wants to turn off the air blower, the system would prevent the operator until the temperature of system reduce to the default security state of system ;

YC-019 lab pilot spray dryer PRINCIPLE
- A menu driven microprocessor controller allows the selection of inlet temperature, airflow, automatic de-blocker frequency and pump speed.
- The self-priming peristaltic pump delivers the sample liquid from a container through a small diameter jet into the main chamber. At the same time an integral compressor pumps air into the outer tube of the jet which causes the liquid to emerge as a fine atomised spray into the drying chamber.
- Heated air is blown through the main chamber evaporating the liquid content of the atomised spray. The solid particles of the material, which are normally in a free flowing state, are then separated from the exhaust air flow by a cyclone and collected in the sample collection bottle. The exhaust airflow is directed through a flexible 60 mm diameter hose direct to atmosphere or to an existing extraction system.

All returns must be authorized by Spectra Services in order to insure proper credit and must be requested within 30 days of purchase. All returns are subject to a minimum 15% restocking charge. For returns not due to error on behalf of Spectra Services, the customer is responsible for all transportation fees related to the returned product. To ensure proper credit, each product return must include the following information:
- Customer name and address
- Purchase order number
- Spectra Services shipping order number
- Date of invoice
- Item number of returned item(s)
- Spectra Services return authorization number (RMA)
- Reason for return
Non-Returnable Goods
Unfortunately, Spectra Services is unable to accept the following returns at this time:
- Products not in completely resalable condition (including products with damaged, missing, or defaced labeling or packaging
- Chemicals, reagents, diagnostics, sterile, or any controlled products (unless products do not meet specification
- Laboratory apparatus or instruments that have been used or are without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals
- Refrigerated products or other perishables
- Products which are not inventoried by Spectra Services and are not able to be returned to the manufacturer
- Products purchased on a special order
- Products not purchased from Spectra Services
- Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
- Discontinued products
Spectra Services reserves the right to review this policy on a case-by-case basis.
Pre-Owned Products
Upon receipt of the pre-owned product(s), the customer has one week to evaluate the product to ensure it meets their expectations. If for some reason the customer decides to return the product, they may do so at any point during those seven (7) days for a full refund. No restocking fee will be assessed, however, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Full credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the item(s) to ensure equipment was returned in the same condition it was initially shipped out in.
Important Information
All exchanges and returns require the completion of a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form. Once completed, please return the merchandise immediately as the RMA number is only active for ten (10) days from the date of issuance.
Charges associated with returning items are the responsibility of the customer unless the item(s) arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect.
Spectra Services highly recommends that return packages be insured for full value and packaged securely to prevent shipping damage.

I received a damaged shipment. What can I do?
