    The Carver 4555 Pellet Press has a 40 ton clamping force and a 4 inch diameter Platen. The 4555 comes with a 31mm KBr Die. All dies include a pellet ejector. This Pellet press is ideal for KBr pellet pressing and for Glove Box applications, compound a formula testing, compression strength testing fluid extractions and on-site field testing.

    Designed for Sample Preparation


    All Carver pellet presses are designed to compact homogeneous powder into a usable pellet sample. Pellet dies are constructed of stainless steel for corrosion resistance with replaceable anvils. A 31mm die for x-ray sample preparation is provided with our 40 and 50 ton presses. An optional 40 mm is also available as well as dies for other specialized applications.
