Fiber-coupled LED light sources are ideal for fluorescence spectroscopy and general fiber illumination applications. The innovative optical design of the LLS family enables highly efficient coupling into an optical fiber. Proprietary electronics provide stable, high-current operation in continuous or external trigger modes and allow the LEDs to run at high peak currents when in external trigger mode.
The LED control module includes a three-way switch to adjust the light source among continuous, off and trigger modes. A second control is used to manually adjust the drive current.
The LLS family also includes the UVTOP LEDs, which cover wavelengths from 240-400 nm.
LLS LEDs are available in nearly 50 different wavelength options. A partial listing of models is given below. The modular nature of the LLS LEDs also make them ideal for OEM integration.
