    The GVC Wire Embedded Three Zone Tube Furnaces use wire elements that are embedded into the insulation of the furnace body so as to enable the use of a range of accessory work-tubes.Unlike the GHC Tube Furnace where the furnace and controller are a single unit the GVC range has the furnace body mounted onto a 'Versatile' stand and is controlled from a separate module connected via a 2 meter conduit.

    The uniform temperature zone of a tube furnace is considerably longer if the ends of the tube are heated slightly more than the middle so as to compensate for thermal losses from the tube ends. This is the basis for the 3 zone furnace.

    Like the other G series wire embedded furnaces, the GVC range provides the flexibility of being able to use accessory work-tubes selected for the physical or chemical properties needed for the user's task.


    Standard Features

    • 1200C maximum operating temperature
    • Provides a longer uniform zone than can be achieved in a single zone tube furnace
    • Heated lengths of 450, 600, 750, 900, 1050 or 1200 mm
    • Accepts work tubes with outer diameter up to 170 mm
    • End zone control is via back to back thermocouples
    • Supplied with versatile stand for vertical, wall mounted and horizontal use
    • Carbolite 301 controller, with single ramp to set-point & process timer
    • End zones of 150 mm

    • Wide choice of tube diameters and materials is available: eg quartz, ceramic, metal
    • End zones 300 mm long
    • Over-temperature protection (recommended to protect valuable contents & for unattended operation)
    • Modified atmosphere and vacuum assemblies are available
    • A range of sophisticated digital controllers, multi-segment programmers and data loggers is available. These can be fitted with RS232, RS485 or Ethernet communications
    • 'Retransmission of Setpoint' control configuration to facilitate programmed cooling
    • Available without stand (comprising control module & furnace body)

      - Maximum continuous operating temperature is 100C below maximum temperature
