    The GHC Wire Embedded Three Zone Tube Furnaces use wire elements that are embedded into the insulation of the furnace body so as to enable the use of a range of accessory work-tubes.

    The uniform temperature zone of a tube furnace is considerably longer if the ends of the tube are heated slightly more than the middle so as to compensate for thermal losses from the tube ends. This is the basis for the 3 zone furnace.

    Like the other G series wire embedded furnaces, the GHC range provides the flexibility of being able to use accessory work-tubes selected for the physical or chemical properties needed for the user's task. For versatile operation, either vertically or horizontally, the GVC Tube Furnaces are mounted on a 'Versatile' stand.


    Standard Features

    • 1200C maximum operating temperature
    • Provides a longer uniform zone than can be achieved in a single zone tube furnace
    • Heated lengths of 450, 600, 750, 900, 1050 or 1200 mm
    • Accepts work tubes with outer diameter up to 170 mm
    • End zone control is via back to back thermocouples
    • Horizontal configuration mounted on control module
    • Carbolite 301 controller, with single ramp to set-point & process timer
    • End zones of 150 mm

    • Wide choice of tube diameters and materials is available: eg quartz, ceramic, metal
    • End zones 300 mm long
    • Insulation plugs & radiation shields to prevent heat loss & improve uniformity
    • Modified atmosphere and vacuum assemblies are available
    • A range of sophisticated digital controllers, multi-segment programmers and data loggers is available. These can be fitted with RS232, RS485 or Ethernet communications
    • 'Retransmission of Setpoint' control configuration to facilitate programmed cooling
