    BrightLine® combination filter set, optimized for DAPI or Spectrum Aqua, Spectrum Green, & Spectrum Orange and other like fluorophores

    This combination set offers the flexibility required for simultaneous multi-color FISH analysis with blue, aqua, green, and orange or red labels. Typically the multiband emission and beamsplitter filters are mounted in a microscope cube, while the excitation filters are mounted in a filter wheel. All of the possible configurations offer high brightness, extremely low crosstalk, and superb signal-to-noise ratio performance.

    To simultaneously view all colors, the triple-band exciter (Exciter 6) is used. This configuration is ideal for identifying the nucleus of the cell simultaneously with the aqua, green, and orange markers.

    To avoid undesirable ultraviolet (UV) exposure of the sample and the typically dominant brightness of the blue label, it is often desirable to view only the green and orange labels. The dual-band exciter is used for this configuration (Exciter 5). Finally, by utilizing individual single-band exciters, one can view or capture a (monochrome) digital image of each label independently. A unique feature of this set is the two very well-separated UV and blue exciters – the UV exciter efficiently excites DAPI with almost no aqua excitation (Exciter 1), while the blue exciter efficiently excites aqua with almost no DAPI excitation (Exciter 2). SpectrumGreen and SpectrumOrange can also be excited independently (Exciter 3 & 4, respectively.)
