The adjustable, counter-balanced articulating arm moves easily up or down through 14.5" of vertical travel while stretching over  31" from the vertical pole center to the  bonder mount socket center. The vertical position can be locked into place via a lever handle at the end of the arm. When combined with the vertical travel of the counter-balanced arm, the total vertical travel for the SMS25 stand is 32". The adjustment range on the counter-balanced section is from 4lbs. to 20lbs., allowing the user to set the most optimum tension for the microscope.

The "Bonder mount Adapter" at the end of the articulating arm accepts the industry standard 5/8" diameter microscope mounting dowel.

Tilting and non-tilting adapters are available for microscopes that do not have the 5/8" diameter microscope mounting dowel.
