Features and Benefits:
The Liquid Crystal Pro System provides a turnkey solution for liquid crystal research scientists looking for the unrivalled temperature stability and control.
Electrical connectors within the sample chamber of the LTSE420 enable the user to make electrical measurements on the sample while controlling the temperature inside a gas tight environment. The sample chamber can be further controlled in terms of humidity, slight vacuum or inert gas via the gas valves on the sides of the stage.
Liquid crystals can be loaded into a 5um gap capillary fill liquid crystal cell fitted into a specially designed cell holder with electrical connections built in. The entire LC cell can be viewed using polarized transmitted light using the XY sample manipulators.
Alternatively samples can be placed on standard microscope slides and manipulated 15mm in XY directions.
To cool samples from ambient down to -196°C, add the LNP95 liquid nitrogen cooling system. This highly efficient LN2 pump, using proprietary pumps and tubing, automatically controls pumping rate to ensure minimal LN2 is required. Recycled dry nitrogen is used to purge the stage and ensure condensation is eliminated and images uncompromised.
The new T95-LinkPad temperature controller with LCD touch screen control is used to quickly program a temperature profile by simply tapping the onscreen controls. The system can be upgraded by adding the intuitive Linksys 32 temperature control software to enable full PC programming of the temperature. Digital video capture facilitates time lapse image capture and creation of movies including sample data such as temperature, time, description and microscope used.

There are stage clamps available to attach the stage to the substage of the microscope or use the Linkam Imaging station to ensure even greater sample access and free up your research microscope for other microscope based applications where the Liquid Crystal Pro System is not required.
