Service and Repair

Spectra provides service and repair for microscopes and optics. We can calibrate microscopes and comparators or video systems and provide certification to N.I.S.T. standards.

Refurbishment of B&L and Leica StereoZoom Microscopes

If you are a current owner of a B&L or Leica StereoZoom microscope (series 1,2,3,4,5,6,7), please consider our low cost refurbishment process.

• Microscope is completely disassembled
• All moving parts are lubricated
• All optics are cleaned
• Body is stripped of old paint
• Body is completely re-painted in a process in which we dip and bake the microscope three times to insure a hard shell and beautiful, better than new finish.
• Microscope is re-assembled and optics are aligned to factory specifications

A new StereoZoom microscope can run into the thousands. our process can turn your old StereoZoom into new, saving you money and upgrading your work area so that others see new equipment instead of old worn equipment.

The cost for this process is $250... less than the cost of a pair of eyepieces! if your microscope is in need of parts, gears, new lenses to replace scratched or fogged ones, these will be extra and a quote will be provided before any part is replaced.
