Highly flexible low volume agitating incubation station

Optimizing Microarray and Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization and Immunohistochemistry Tissue Incubation
The hybridization station SlideBooster™ SB450 improves biological results of open well experiments as well as all coverslip and lifterslip incubations. With two independent incubation chambers a total number of four slides can be hybridized in parallel.
Microagitation chips integrated into the chamber floor generate the surface acoustic wave (SAW) that penetrates the slides and cause ‘quasi-chaotic’ streaming in the sample solution. This results in homogenous mixing.
Due to the SAW technology, the hybridization is no longer diffusion limited resulting in shorter incubation times or higher quality in the same incubation time as present methods, using volumes as low as 5 µl.

Features:

  • Optimized FISH and IHC incubation
    Real homogeneity and improved reproducibility
  • Effectively agitation due to Surface Acoustic Wave Technology (SAW)
    Increased sensitivity and better specifity
  • High precision temperature control
    Temperature range up to 42°C

  • Hybridizations of tissue samples in an open well (Immunohistochemistry, FISH)
  • Greatest flexibility
Compatible with Lifterslip™, coverglass, Geneframe™ and gasket slide.
The SlideBooster™ is designed for the following applications:
• Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)
• Multi-color FISH
• Immuno-histochemistry (IHC)
• Comparative genomic hybridization on Chromosomes (CGH)
• Chromosome staining

Other major advantages:

• No changes in protocols
• Simple Operation
• Significantly reduced assay time for Fluorescence In-situ Hybridizations (FISH) and Immunohistochemistry experiments
• No dead volume, minimal experiment volumes (less than 5 µl)
• Minimal cleaning or maintenance efforts
• Small Footprint
