Optimizing Microarray and Fluorescence In-Situ Hybridization and Immunohistochemistry Tissue Incubation
The new hybridization station SlideBooster™ improves biological results of open well experiments as well as all coverslip and lifterslip incubations. The micro-agitation station has been designed for the incubation of DNA and protein microarrays, as well as for tissue sections, for applications such as IHC and FISH.
The SlideBooster™ uses patented surface acoustic wave technology (SAW) to effectively agitate the sample solution during the incubation. Due to this SAW technology, hybridization is no longer diffusion limited, and therefore results in a higher quality. The four independently controlled chambers accepts most standard microscope slide formats. Up to four SlideBooster units can be controlled by a single computer providing a total of 16 individual incubation chambers with maximum flexibility for 16 (SB400) or 32 (SB800) experiments |
